Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) are extracurricular groups for students in CTE pathways to further their knowledge and skills by participating in activities, events and competitions. The CTSO must specifically relate to one or more of the 16 national career clusters. Some of these CTSOs apply to only one career cluster while others apply to students from many clusters.
There are currently over 2 million students participating in CTSOs nationally.

HOSA provides leadership development for students enrolled in health science education and biomedical science programs or have interests in pursuing careers in health professions.
SkillsUSA serves students preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled services including health occupations.
TSA enhances personal development, leadership and career opportunities for student members who are engaged in STEM.
